Welcome to DMV Beneficials!

We are a collective of plant enthusiasts who believe in informed pest management using beneficial insects.  Formed as a collaborative community in 2020, we advise on pest identification and treatment, provide troubleshooting advice during the beneficial insect treatment process, and support each other when we find signs of pests on our most loved plants.

DMV Beneficials provides a financially viable way to purchase beneficial insects without making a profit. We do bulk beneficial insect orders to significantly reduce shipping costs. All beneficial insects that we offer are native to the US. We do not offer beneficial insects that are directly harvested from their natural environment, and as such we actively discourage the use of commercially sourced ladybugs and the chinese mantis. Instead these beneficial insects are hatched in responsibly maintained insectaries.
