Cucumeris is a species of predatory mite that feeds on immature stages of thrips (eggs and juveniles), broad mites, and russet mites. The pouch is considered “slow-release”, meaning multiple generations of cucumeris mites making it ideal for either preventative measures or to treat active infestations.
Bottle: One bottle contains approximately 50,000 cucumeris mites and eggs in a bran substrate. One bottle can treat approximately 30-50+ small/medium plants depending on amount applied per plant and proximity of plants to each other. Do not use the contents of the bottle on plants in non-soil substrates such as LECA, pon, moss, perlite, or water. Instead order cucumeris mite sachets.
Slow release sachets: One sachet contains approximately 1,000 cucumeris mites and eggs in a bran substrate. One sachet can treat 1-3 plants (they can be moved to different plants every few days). One sachet can last 4-6 weeks before needing to be replaced. These sachets can be used for plants in soil mediums and non-soil substrates such as LECA, pon, moss, perlite, or water.
